In our members' own words
I am 73 years old, thirteen years into retirement after serving the Uganda Police Force for over 30 years. Our pioneer, Madam Alice Faith Kiconco, never gave up on tracking down her retired colleagues, and our network grew from six contacts to over 31 members at our first meeting. This SACCO has given us a priceless opportunity to communicate, listen and support one another again. When my family faced a crisis over school fees, the SACCO stepped in. I urge more retired civil servants countrywide to join us.
Member, retired civilian staff, Uganda Police Force
